Thread lift is typically the right choice for early-to-moderate facial laxity (most clients in their 30s–50s with mild jowling, midface descent, or jawline blurring). For severe laxity or significant skin redundancy, a surgical face lift is usually a better long-term value. Dr. JC will give you a straight assessment at the consultation — including telling you a thread lift won't help if your case really needs surgery.

PDO thread lift at Skin Essentials starts at ₱15,000 for a localised area and runs ₱25,000–35,000 for a full lower-face lift. The quote depends on how many threads are needed and which thread profile (standard mono vs. cog-thread for stronger lifting). All-in pricing — no consultation fees, no "today only" surcharges.

Most clients return to office work the next day. Mild swelling and slight bruising at insertion points typically resolve in 3–7 days. For social events, allow 1 week of recovery to be safe. We'll walk you through aftercare in detail before you leave the clinic.

The threads themselves dissolve in 6–8 months, but the collagen scaffold they create lasts 12–18 months in most clients. Many of our regulars come back for a maintenance session at 12 months; others wait until they notice the lift softening. There's no obligation to rebook.
